Are you passionately driven by inclusion and diversity? Are you culturally powered by equity and fairness? Do you have an IDEA?
According to an article on fortune.com written by Stacy Jones in June 2017, 72% of corporate leadership in Fortune 500 Companies is made of white men (see link below). While Corporate America strives to create a balanced workplace, it is not visible at senior level positions. Most individuals in senior leadership across many organizations in the United States understand that Inclusion and Diversity are necessary to create that balanced workplace. We need both! If diversity is who you have on your team, then inclusion is who is in the game. What is your plan to improve hiring, promotion, and retention practices to attract and keep visible minority candidates?
“Strength lies in differences, not in similarities” – Stephen Covey.
